Abstract
|
|
|
Purpose : This study was conducted to examine recognition of the Gerontological Nurse Practitioner by the General Public.
Result : 1) Most people hardly heard about the Gerontological Nurse Practitioner but gave a definite answer taking advantage of it. 2) Most people think that government should charge 49.2 percent of expenses, 29.1 Percent of insurance, and 18.6 percent of individural. 3) Most of the participants answered that certificate system and more than 3 years of clinical experience for geriatic are necessary.
Conclusion : This study suggested that GNPs (Gerontological Nurse Practitioners) need to develop the marketing stategies in order to enhance the effectiveness of their role.
